8 | 1 | 2022NEW FEDERAL COURTHOUSE NAMED IN HONOR OF SYLVIA H. RAMBO

An official naming ceremony, honoring Judge Sylvia H. Rambo, took place Thursday, June 23rd at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania’s new Federal Courthouse. “It is altogether fitting and appropriate that a significant public building be named for Judge Rambo in her lifetime. It reflects a permanent, public acknowledgment of the impact that Judge Rambo has had on her community and this district court,” said Chief Judge Matthew W. Brann, of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. The project is currently under construction and is scheduled to open February 2023.
